Our favourite web video of the week is Follow the Frog by Rainforest Alliance. It was posted a few years ago (so we’re a bit late to the punch!) however we still think its a great viral ad. Created to promote their ‘Follow the Frog’ campaign (you might be familiar with the little frog logo you see on packets of coffee and other products), it has clocked up well over 3.5 million views.

Designed to target armchair activists, it’s great to see a viral ad funded by a corporate organisation that’s actually funny. Rather taking the conventional route of making the viewer feel guilty, the ad shows what you should do by making fun of what you shouldn’t do. Written/directed by Max Joseph and produced by Wander Film, this clearly isn’t a low budget production – it’s brilliantly scripted and well edited!
